Mirath is a product of Rafiq Labs Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). We provide an AI-powered Islamic inheritance calculator at getmirath.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with care.

• Account information: When you create an account via Clerk (our authentication provider), we receive your email address and basic profile information.
• Family structure data: Information you provide during the intake process (marital status, number of children, living parents, siblings) is used to calculate your faraid distribution. This data is stored in your session and optionally persisted to our database.
• Waitlist information: If you join our will generation waitlist, we collect your email and state of residence.
• Usage data: We may collect anonymous usage analytics to improve our product.

• To calculate and display your faraid distribution

• Clerk: Authentication and user management
• Supabase/Neon: Database hosting (PostgreSQL)
• Vercel: Application hosting
• Anthropic: AI-powered educational content (only when you explicitly request "Tell me more" — your family data is sent as context for personalized education)

Mirath is a standalone product. No data is shared with Rafiq or any other product under Rafiq Labs Inc.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Clerk, and encrypted database connections. Faraid calculations run client-side when possible, minimizing data transmission.

6. Your Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Intake session data is retained for your reference and can be deleted upon request. Waitlist entries are retained until you are notified or you request removal.
